Is offered by Jardim Infantil Dom Dinis as an extra-curricular program. Goretti Silveira, a foreign language teacher, originally founded Dom Dinis in 1983. The Center is licensed by the State of California Community Care Licensing Division. License # 434400078
Vision
Help families who are trying to raise bilingual children to acquire, maintain and continue to develop Spanish language skills at an early age by offering high quality, developmentally appropriate programs for children 2.5 to 5 years old.
Program Offerings at Dom Dinis
Preschool Spanish language instruction is organized around themes and incorporates the principles of developmentally appropriate practice as defined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. These themes were selected around topics proven to be relevant and of interest to children. Spanish is learned across the curriculum and takes place simultaneously with the activity at hand.
